Barcelona routed Racing Santander 7-2, with Raphinha scoring three goals. This win put Hansi Flick’s team three points clear at the top of La Liga.

The team secured their sixth straight league win despite poor weather. They widened the gap over rivals Real Madrid.

Barcelona took the lead in the eighth minute. Joao Cancelo scored with a powerful long-range shot that hit the underside of the crossbar.

Raphinha extended the lead from a penalty in the 25th minute after Pedro Felipe fouled him. Although Maguette Gueye scored for Racing, Barcelona quickly regained control.

Cancelo’s long-range effort was initially thought to be his second goal but was later credited as an own goal. Dani Olmo then set up Raphinha for a clinical fourth goal before halftime.

In first-half stoppage time, Racing’s goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala saved Lamine Yamal’s penalty. However, Barcelona’s relentless pressure continued.

Wojciech Szczesny replaced the injured Garcia at halftime. The goalkeeper was quickly dispossessed in his own area by Yassir Zabiri, making the score 4-2.

This resistance was brief. Karim Adeyemi won Barcelona's third penalty in the 67th minute. Raphinha completed his hat-trick, scoring into the bottom corner. Gabriel Jesus then added a sixth goal, confirming the rout.

Yamal made up for his earlier missed penalty by scoring the seventh goal.

Having scored 28 goals in their first six matches, Flick’s strong team approaches their next match against Sevilla on Saturday with clear confidence.
