Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi has stated that his team is not focusing on the talk surrounding Manchester City’s potential treble. However, Guéhi emphasized that Crystal Palace’s sole focus is on their upcoming fixture against the Citizens. Speaking ahead of the match, he commented, “We’re just focused on ourselves and preparing for the game. It’s not our job to think about what other teams are doing or their achievements.”
The England international acknowledged the quality of Pep Guardiola’s side but stressed that his team will approach the game with the intention of performing to the best of their abilities. “They are a fantastic team, obviously, and have been for a long time. We respect them, but we have our own game plan and we’ll be looking to execute that,” Guéhi added.
