Vasek Pospisil, a former world No. 25 tennis player, has shed light on Novak Djokovic`s decision not to be a signatory to the PTPA lawsuit against the major tennis governing bodies: ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA.
Speaking on the Slice Tennis podcast, Pospisil recounted his conversation with Djokovic prior to the lawsuit`s filing. `While I can`t recall his exact words,` Pospisil explained, `I understood that Novak didn`t want the lawsuit to be perceived as being solely about him. He envisioned it as a collective statement from a united group advocating for changes within tennis.`
Djokovic himself has previously addressed his reasons for not signing the PTPA lawsuit against the ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA.
