World number two tennis player, Iga Swiatek, has revealed her dissatisfaction with her coach`s conduct during her match against Alexandra Eala at the Miami tournament. The Polish player was defeated by the Filipina in the quarter-finals with sets of 2-6, 5-7.
According to Swiatek, she finds it distracting to receive coaching cues after every single point played. This made it difficult for her to maintain focus on the court, especially towards the end of the match. However, she mentioned that she and her coach will discuss this issue. She acknowledged that in previous matches, the coaching provided by Wim had been beneficial and of high quality. Swiatek is confident they will resolve this matter.
