World number 18 Stefanos Tsitsipas discussed how he spent the time during the power outage in Madrid. On Monday, a large-scale electricity cut prevented the completion of the day`s play at the combined tournament.
“Everything was okay,” Tsitsipas said. “Perhaps I`m the best person for these kinds of situations. I know how to spend my time. I read, I had good conversations with Paula [Badosa], with the team, and I wasn`t particularly worried.”
He added: “Give me any excuse to do something else, and I`ll have a good day. By the way, I wasn`t here.”
