Former Top 80 ATP ranked Slovak tennis player Norbert Gombos addressed spectators during his Madrid Challenger semifinal match against Kamil Majchrzak of Poland (6/7(2), 6/3, 6/7(1)). Gombos went up to the stands to confront fans who were interfering with his serve.

Addressing the crowd, Gombos exclaimed: “Are you happy now? You are ruining the match. You are constantly whistling. Who was whistling? You keep whistling. Why are you destroying the game?! I don`t care if you are betting!”

Gombos was being whistled at by spectators as he prepared to serve, in an attempt to influence the outcome of the match. The 34-year-old Slovakian player has won three ITF Future Tour titles and seven ATP Challenger Tour titles. His highest ATP ranking was 80th place, achieved in 2017.
