World No. 1 and three-time Grand Slam champion, Italian Jannik Sinner, has officially completed his three-month doping disqualification. His ban for violating anti-doping rules came to an end today, May 5.
This week, Sinner is scheduled to compete in his first tournament since returning – the Rome Masters, which starts on May 7. His first official practice session on the courts of this Italian tournament is planned for today.
In 2025, Jannik Sinner had only competed in one tournament – the Australian Open, where he claimed the title. The Italian now returns to the Tour as the world No. 1, holding a lead of over 1500 points on his closest competitor.
