World number one, Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, has posted a new photo on her social media channels, showing a moment from her current vacation.
The athlete had previously stated her intention to take a short break on the Greek island of Mykonos, mentioning this plan after her defeat in the final of the Roland Garros tournament.
“More than perfect,” Sabalenka captioned the photo.
In the final match of the clay-court Grand Slam event, Sabalenka was defeated by American Coco Gauff with a score of 7/6(5), 2/6, 4/6. Following the match, Aryna expressed discontent with the playing conditions and also suggested that Polish player Iga Świątek would have been victorious in the final under different circumstances. Sabalenka`s remarks generated considerable discussion and reaction, with Gauff herself later admitting they sounded somewhat strange.
