British tennis player Emma Raducanu shared her impressions after advancing to the second round of the Queen`s Club tournament in London. In her opening match, she defeated Spain`s Cristina Bucsa with a score of 6/1, 6/2.

I must confess, today I was extremely focused, so I am very pleased with the final result.

At the start, there were certainly some nerves. This is my first experience playing on the courts at Queen`s. The crowd support was incredible.

I would say I am still in the process of adapting to this type of surface. There are moments in my game where I feel I`m slightly behind, and I`m working on that.

I was aware that today`s match wouldn`t be easy – I had lost to Cristina earlier this season, so I put in every effort to avoid a repeat.

My goal is to stay at Queen`s for as long as possible and play as many matches as I can.

Raducanu commented after the match.
