Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier has shared his thoughts on Paddy Pimblett`s future after his victory over Michael Chandler.
Poirier believes Pimblett is now a legitimate contender in the division. While acknowledging Chandler`s status, Poirier suggests Pimblett needs a tougher challenge next. He named Gamrot, Oliveira, or Tsarukian as suitable opponents for a serious test. However, Poirier admitted that, as a fan, he would personally love to see Pimblett face Dan Hooker, anticipating a highly entertaining matchup.
Pimblett recently achieved a knockout victory against Michael Chandler at UFC 314 in Miami, USA.
