Dembele’s team from France quickly took a 2-0 lead, increasing their overall lead to 5-1.

However, Villa staged an impressive comeback, bringing the score to 3-2 in the match and 5-4 on aggregate.

Unai Emery’s team was ultimately unable to score the equalizing goal, resulting in their exit from European competition in front of their home fans.

Despite the victory on the night for Villa, PSG`s progression to the next round highlighted areas of concern for the French side.

They are now set to play against either Arsenal or Real Madrid for a spot in the final in Munich.

PSG’s players are aware they cannot afford any more mistakes if they aim to finally win the coveted Champions League title.

Dembele clearly displayed his emotions after the final whistle.

The winger is having a fantastic season, having scored 32 goals and provided 11 assists in 42 appearances.

Dembele provided an assist at Villa Park, and his overall performance earned him the Man of the Match award.

However, video footage captured him REFUSING to accept the award as he was leaving the pitch.

Dembele showed an unimpressed expression when a staff member attempted to give him the trophy.

Later, he posed for a photograph with his award.

But Dembele looked very unhappy as he considered PSG’s defeat in the second leg against Aston Villa.

Fans online quickly reacted, with one commenting: “Demebele’s mentality is insane.”

Another stated: “I’m in tears, they made him take it.”

One person noted: “He isn’t pleased with his own performance and how the game unfolded.”

Another added: “He looks like he’s been insulted.”
