24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has announced his aspiration to win his 100th career title at the Miami Masters in the USA. He began his campaign successfully by defeating Australian player Rinky Hijikata.

“Where would I like to win my 100th title? Definitely in Miami. There`s no doubt about it. I would be extremely happy to celebrate my 100th title here,” Djokovic stated during a press conference.

He added, “We will see how things unfold. It`s a long tournament. However, this initial victory boosts my confidence and reinforces my belief in my ability to succeed. Nevertheless, the journey ahead is still lengthy.”
