Merab Dvalishvili, the UFC bantamweight champion, shared his thoughts following his dominant victory over Cory Sandhagen.
“I am a machine,” Dvalishvili declared. “I am getting better with each fight. My team consistently surprises me with new challenges. I train incredibly hard. I feel as though I am just at the beginning of my journey. I am from Georgia, and my spirit is strong. I am a judo practitioner, and we are accustomed to throwing opponents using the gi. However, I’ve also started training at a boxing gym. I must continuously improve. I almost finished him with my strikes; that was part of my plan.”
