Manchester United player Marcus Rashford has been fined almost £800 for further driving-related offenses. This occurred while he was already prohibited from driving.

Rashford, currently playing for Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United, did not provide Cheshire Police with details about who was driving his £100,000 electric BMW I7 on October 30 of the previous year.

At the time of this latest incident, Rashford, 27, was serving a driving ban. This ban was put in place after he was caught speeding at 104mph on a motorway in December 2023.

The grey BMW was recorded in Winsford, Cheshire, on October 30 last year.

On the same day, Rashford played for Man United in their 5-2 victory against Leicester in the League Cup.

Police contacted Rashford requesting information to identify the driver, as they were suspected of committing a driving offense.

Rashford admitted guilt for not responding to the police request at Warrington Magistrates` Court on March 13, through a single justice procedure.

Therefore, the identity of the driver at the time remains unknown.

The football star, earning £350,000 per week, received a £500 fine. He is also required to pay £200 in victim surcharges and £90 in court costs, totaling almost £800. These payments are due by April 10.

Additionally, six penalty points have been added to his driving license.

This recent event is part of a series of driving-related issues for Rashford. His previous driving ban for speeding had only concluded on January 18. This earlier ban was a result of being caught driving over 30mph above the speed limit on the M60 by an unmarked police vehicle.

It was also reported that his Rolls-Royce needed to be towed from a motorway due to a tyre blowout on a Friday.

At the time of the Rolls-Royce incident on the M60, Rashford was on international duty with England. The car was stranded for an hour. The driver of the Rolls-Royce at that time is also unknown.
