Among those not receiving new contracts are notable players Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans, and Victor Lindelof.

Lindelof, who joined from Benfica in 2017, spent eight years with Manchester United. During his tenure, he accumulated 284 appearances and earned FA Cup and League Cup winner`s medals.

Evans concludes his second period at Old Trafford, having featured 241 times for the club across both stints. His return to the club in 2023 was on a free transfer, following spells at West Brom and Leicester City. He might not remain a free agent for long, with reports linking him to a potential move to Wrexham.

Eriksen also arrived at Manchester United in 2022 as a free transfer. The Danish midfielder courageously returned to play after experiencing a cardiac arrest during the Euros in May 2021. His comeback to professional football began with a six-month period at Brentford starting January 2022, before his move to Manchester. For United, the midfielder made 108 appearances, contributing eight goals and nineteen assists.

Veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton`s future at the club is uncertain, pending negotiations for a new contract. The club has confirmed that discussions regarding a new deal for Heaton are in progress. If a new agreement is reached, the former Burnley shot-stopper would remain at Old Trafford for the 2025/26 season. He also featured for the team during the post-season tour in Asia.
