Real Madrid is prepared to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold before the Club World Cup.
The 26-year-old Liverpool right-back has reportedly agreed to a five-year contract with a weekly salary of £240,000 to join Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.

Alexander-Arnold’s contract with Liverpool expires on June 30, but the Club World Cup begins on June 15.
Real Madrid is now reportedly willing to pay a fee, estimated to be around £5 million, to sign him on June 1st. This would allow him to join his England teammate Jude Bellingham for the tournament hosted in the US.
They are ready to make a payment now after Liverpool previously rejected their transfer approach on New Year’s Eve.
Liverpool declined the offer at that time as they were determined to keep their vice-captain to assist manager Arne Slot in his first season with a Premier League title challenge.
Manager Slot was also hesitant to let go of the player due to a shortage of defenders in the team.
However, with Liverpool`s owners, Fenway Sports Group, now accepting that they are likely to lose the England international, who is currently injured with an ankle issue, they may decide to gain some financial benefit from his departure.
In addition to a transfer fee, they would also save a month`s worth of wages for Alexander-Arnold, who earns £140,000 per week at Liverpool.
Last September, Alexander-Arnold stated that discussions about his future “would not be conducted publicly.”
However, it is now widely understood that he will be leaving the club he joined at the age of six.
His final appearance for Liverpool is likely to be in the home game against Crystal Palace on May 25th, the last matchday of the Premier League season.
Liverpool are also awaiting decisions from Mo Salah and captain Virgil van Dijk, whose contracts also expire on June 30th.
However, FSG and manager Slot are believed to be confident that Van Dijk and Salah will both agree to new contracts.
