Sergey Lapin, a coach in the team of world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, stated that Anthony Joshua, Usyk`s former opponent, is predicted to become the undisputed heavyweight champion once Usyk concludes his boxing career.
According to Lapin, conversations with Joshua have revealed a mutual respect and understanding of boxing. “We`ve spoken with Anthony Joshua about his training camps, his approach to boxing in general. He`s a genuinely pleasant person, and we enjoy our conversations. It`s clear Joshua is someone who learns from his experiences,” Lapin commented.
Lapin highlighted Joshua`s boxing prowess and the shared perspectives on the sport. “We discussed his impressive boxing skills and exchanged views on boxing. We found ourselves aligned on many thoughts and ideas regarding boxing. We have confidence in him and his capabilities.”
Concluding his prediction, Lapin affirmed, “We consider Joshua to be an exceptional fighter. My team and I are of the opinion that following Alexander`s retirement, Anthony Joshua will ascend to become the undisputed champion.
