Former world No. 9 John Isner has given his assessment of Novak Djokovic`s chances at Grand Slam tournaments.
Isner commented, “I hope I`m wrong, but it appears that Novak Djokovic realistically has only two more opportunities to win a Grand Slam tournament – Wimbledon and the US Open. Age is a factor, and while he takes exceptional care of his body, the critical question mark in his career is his current performance level.”
“If his serve is as strong as it was in Miami, he definitely has a shot at winning Wimbledon. In one match, he achieved an 83% first serve percentage. If he can consistently maintain above 65%, he is absolutely capable of winning Wimbledon this year,” Isner stated on the Nothing Major podcast.
