Brooksby highlighted that achieving a series of consecutive wins helps him establish a vital rhythm, a quality he considers a significant strength in his game. He elaborated, “I don`t dwell on statistics or things like that, and I think it shows when I`m playing.”
Reflecting on his performance, the American competitor asserted: “I developed excellent tactics for this particular match. Given that we had never faced each other on court before, it possibly worked to my benefit, as he was not yet acquainted with my distinctive playing style and unique skills. After the initial games, I genuinely felt myself getting into a good rhythm. I believe I managed to execute an outstanding match. Ultimately, today, I simply demonstrated a bit more consistency,” Brooksby concluded in his post-match interview on court.
