Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner has been recognized as the 2024 Sportsman of the Year in South Tyrol, Italy, his home province.

The award ceremony took place at the Sporthlife Gala 2025.

In 2024, Sinner`s remarkable achievements include winning the Australian Open and US Open Grand Slam titles. He also triumphed at the ATP Finals and Masters 1000 events in Cincinnati and Shanghai.

Currently, the world-renowned player is serving a three-month suspension due to an anti-doping rule violation from spring 2024. He is expected to return to the tour in May at the Masters tournament in Rome, Italy.
