Jamie Vardy, who yesterday confirmed he would be leaving Leicester City at the end of the season, has been widely tipped by fans to make the most “obvious” transfer of all time.

The 38-year-old striker is a legend in the East Midlands, particularly for his crucial role in the club`s incredible Premier League title triumph in 2016.
Despite not reaching England`s top-flight until the age of 27, Vardy has established himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers in the league`s history.
While a move to MLS during the summer transfer window has been suggested, a popular prediction among fans is that he will instead join Wrexham, the club co-owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Numerous fans took to social media to share their strong belief:
“Jamie Vardy going to Wrexham seems the most obvious transfer of all time,” one user commented.
Another mused, “Imagine if Vardy moves to Wrexham.”
A third wrote, “Jamie Vardy to Wrexham is the most predictable summer move imaginable.”
“Vardy to Wrexham is the most obvious transfer move ever,” a fourth agreed.
“I’m calling it now, if Wrexham get promoted I can see Vardy going there if he’s not going abroad,” a fifth predicted.
Yet another fan stated, “Vardy is definitely going to Wrexham, isn’t he?”

Wrexham has experienced a remarkable ascent through the football leagues since the arrival of the Hollywood ownership duo.
The club is currently on the cusp of achieving a third consecutive promotion, potentially taking them into the Championship from the National League.
Bookmakers have also listed the Welsh club among the favourites to acquire the striker.
The celebrity owners have previously shown ambition in the transfer market; Rob McElhenney, for instance, made a public attempt to sign former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale before his retirement in 2023, though he was unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, after announcing his departure from Leicester, Vardy also revealed his all-time Leicester City teammate XI.
His selected team included some notable omissions, such as Harry Kane, Harry Maguire, and James Maddison. He also chose not to include any current members of the Leicester squad.
