British tennis player Jack Draper shared his thoughts on his current ranking status and recent accomplishments.
“My position in the rankings doesn`t dictate who I am as a person,” stated Draper. “I use my fears and uncertainties as fuel to give my absolute best in every single match. Regardless of my ranking number, I remain true to myself.”
He added, “While rankings are important, my achievements over the past year – including winning a Masters event, claiming ATP 500 and ATP 250 titles, and reaching a Grand Slam semi-final – serve as a strong support system during moments of self-doubt. I tell myself, `Jack, you`re a capable player, there`s no need to worry.` These successes are instrumental in helping me maintain my confidence,” Draper explained during a press conference held in Rome.
