This week, the PGA Tour returns to The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, for the Genesis Scottish Open. Robert MacIntyre, a native of Oban, Scotland, is set to defend the title he won in 2024 on his home turf. He will compete against a formidable lineup of players, including the top five ranked golfers in the world. MacIntyre secured his victory last season by dramatically sinking a 22-foot birdie putt on the final hole to narrowly defeat Adam Scott. This win made him the first Scottish player to claim the tournament title in 25 years.
Players will be competing for a total prize purse of $9 million. The champion will take home $1.5 million along with 500 FedEx Cup points.
