World No. 18 Grigor Dimitrov has spoken about achieving his 50th victory at the Masters level on clay courts. He secured this milestone by defeating Valentin Vacherot in the second round of Monte Carlo with a score of 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.
“It`s a great feeling to win 50 matches at clay Masters events. This is wonderful, especially at this point in my career. I take nothing for granted,” Dimitrov commented.
He added, “The last two to three years have been incredibly challenging, both on the court and in my personal life. I`ve been focusing on self-improvement and dedicating the necessary time to ensure I`m in the best possible shape. Recently, I`ve started to value the competitive aspect of tennis even more. It`s fantastic.”
