UFC lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot recently shared his thoughts on the highly anticipated BMF title fight set to take place between Dustin Poirier and Max Holloway. This significant bout is scheduled to headline UFC 318 on June 19 in New Orleans, USA.

“For me, the most important event in the division right now is the upcoming fight of Dustin Poirier,” Gamrot stated. “I am sure Dustin will knock out Holloway. This is his last fight, he will take the BMF belt and peacefully end his career.”

Gamrot also spoke highly of Poirier`s influence on his own career.

“Dustin has had a huge impact on my career, I have always received support from him. He is an amazing person, and I believe he deserves all the best,” Gamrot added.

In related news, Mateusz Gamrot is coming off a recent victory. At the UFC on ESPN 68 event in Las Vegas, USA, Gamrot defeated Ludovit Klein via unanimous decision.
