Georgian middleweight contender Roman Dolidze has publicly criticized former division champion Robert Whittaker. Dolidze is reacting to Whittaker`s previous decision to decline a fight against him.
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Dolidze stated, “Whittaker`s words seem ridiculous to me, very childish. How can he say such things after just defeating Chimaev? He hasn`t demonstrated any exceptional toughness himself. Therefore, I struggle to understand his attitude and cannot take his statements seriously. He needs to prove himself more in the octagon before making such pronouncements. In my opinion, he is acting like a child.”
