Renowned tennis coach Darren Cahill, who has previously worked with Grand Slam champions such as Andre Agassi and Andy Murray, and currently coaches world No. 1 Jannik Sinner of Italy, shared his reflections on social media following his protégé`s participation in the clay-court Masters tournament in Rome, Italy.
“Thank you, Rome. Congratulations to Carlos Alcaraz and his team. A wonderful performance. Two fantastic weeks in Italy for all of us. Bravo, Jannik. Exceeding expectations has become your norm, which, in reality, is far from normal. Paris is our next step,” Cahill wrote.
Notably, on Sunday, May 18th, Sinner competed in the Rome Masters final, where he was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz with a score of 6/7(5), 1/6. The tournament in Rome marked Sinner`s first event after a period of absence.
