Crystal Palace made history by beating Manchester City in a thrilling FA Cup final.
Eberechi Eze was the hero for the Eagles, scoring the winning goal as Oliver Glasner`s side secured a dramatic 1-0 victory.

This triumph marked Palace`s first major domestic trophy in their 119-year history.
Against the flow of the game, Eze put the underdogs ahead in the first half with a stunning finish from a Daniel Munoz cross.
Dean Henderson was exceptional in the Palace goal, making several superb saves, including a penalty stop from Omar Marmoush.
However, controversy arose as he appeared to handle the ball outside the box, leading to questions about whether he should have stayed on the field.
Ultimately, Palace earned a deserved victory through resolute defending and standout individual performances.
Here are the player ratings for Glasner`s history-making team at Wembley.
Dean Henderson – 9

Early saves from Erling Haaland and Josko Gvardiol.
Should not have been on the pitch to save Omar Marmoush’s penalty, having somehow escaped a red card for an earlier handball.
Made another good stop from Jeremy Doku.
Less busy in the second half until two late saves from Echeverri.
Marc Guehi – 8

A captain’s performance as part of Palace’s three-man defense until forced off.
Made an absolutely crucial header under his own crossbar after a Henderson save.
Took a ball hard in the face and had to leave the field.
Maxence Lacroix – 7

The least impressive of the centre backs but still solid enough as Palace stood firm in the first half.
Made an important header away from Haaland early in the second half and took on more responsibility after Guehi went off.
Kept Haaland pretty quiet.
Chris Richards – 9

Calm and composed under City pressure.
Always seemed to be in the right place to tidy up when attacks broke down.
Won some important headers and made crucial interventions.
Formed an excellent partnership with Munoz.
Tyrick Mitchell – 7

Played his part in withstanding the City siege.
Seemed to have undone all his and Palace’s good work with a challenge on Silva that conceded the penalty.
But kept his head well and dealt effectively with Savinho.
Daniel Munoz – 9

Kept his cool defending in the box, unlike Mitchell, making an important challenge on Nico O’Reilly in the second half.
Provided a brilliant cross for Eze’s goal and another which Sarr almost converted.
Had a goal rightly ruled out for offside in the build-up.
Delivered a tireless display.
Adam Wharton – 8

Gave a very disciplined performance without the ball, holding his position and choosing moments well to make challenges.
Showed some decent passes too, when the time was right.
Easy to see why City and others are interested in him.
Daichi Kamada – 8

Full of energy right from the start, although not always with the desired outcome.
His passing improved as the game went on and he made an excellent challenge on Silva early in the second half.
Ismaila Sarr – 6

Was not always pressing as high as Glasner wanted and didn’t offer much of an outlet when Palace regained possession.
Could have made it 2-0 but didn’t quite connect with his first-half shot.
Did not really improve after the break.
Eberechi Eze – 7

His fine volleyed goal was probably his first meaningful contribution.
Was not defending as boss Glasner wanted and was unable to impose himself in the final third.
A fierce effort that was blocked was his only notable moment of the second half.
