A heated confrontation between Tottenham and Chelsea players erupted during their London derby on Thursday night, just before halftime.
The clash occurred near the Tottenham penalty area when Tottenham defender Cristian Romero pushed Chelsea`s Levi Colwill to the ground, leading to a scuffle involving players from both teams.

The tension initially escalated after Colwill made a strong tackle on Micky van de Ven as Tottenham attempted a counter-attack while trailing 1-0.
Although the referee called a foul, Tottenham players remained agitated.
Almost all Tottenham players protested the foul, but Romero reacted strongly and physically confronted Colwill.
Romero aggressively approached Colwill and pushed him to the ground, sparking a mass brawl as Chelsea players intervened to defend their teammate.
Trevoh Chalobah confronted Romero, and Tottenham players including James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Djed Spence intervened to pull Chalobah away.
Referee Craig Pawson struggled to control the situation due to the number of players involved.

After the situation calmed down, referee Pawson issued yellow cards to both Chalobah and Romero for their roles in the brawl. Colwill was not booked for the initial foul.
Following the incident, the game intensified, and Enzo Fernandez scored a header in the second half, putting Chelsea ahead 1-0.
Later, Tottenham thought they had equalized with a long-range goal from Pape Matar Sarr, but VAR disallowed the goal due to a foul by Sarr on Moises Caicedo in the buildup.
Chelsea ultimately secured a 1-0 victory, moving back into the top four, while Tottenham remain in 14th place after another disappointing performance.
