Mohamed Salah made a playful remark suggesting that Liverpool`s recent Premier League title felt “way better” than their previous one, noting the absence of former manager Jurgen Klopp and key former teammates Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Star player Salah contributed his side`s fourth goal in the win, bringing his league tally to 28 and his season total across all competitions to 33.
Salah was also a pivotal figure when the Reds claimed the title five years prior under Jurgen Klopp, playing alongside attacking partners Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
A significant difference between the two title wins is the presence of fans in the stadium. Liverpool`s first title in nearly 30 years was celebrated largely without supporters due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
However, this time, no lockdown prevented the title celebrations.
Liverpool`s Egyptian forward lightheartedly commented that this championship, won under Arne Slot, felt particularly special to him.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 32-year-old stated: “Ah, this is way better 100 per cent.”
With a grin, he quipped: “Without Sadio, without Jurgen, without Bobby, without everybody…”

He continued, explaining: “It feels more special, with the fans. But you know, you have a different group now, a different manager and you show you are able to do it again – it’s something special.”
Salah is the only remaining member of the famous Liverpool attacking trio that helped the club achieve both Premier League and Champions League success, returning them to the top of English and European football.
Mane departed Liverpool in 2022 for Bayern Munich, while Firmino left in 2023. Both now play in Saudi Arabia for Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli, respectively.
Salah recently signed a new substantial contract with Liverpool, reportedly worth £400,000 per week, alongside fellow veteran Virgil van Dijk, who was also part of the squad that won the first Premier League era title for the club five years ago.
The winger also praised new Dutch manager Arne Slot, highlighting how his tactics have positively impacted his game.
He commented: “You can see the numbers! Now I don't have to defend much.”
“The tactics are quite different. I said, `As long as you rest me defensively I will provide offensively`, so I am glad that I did. He listened a lot and you can see the numbers.”
“When you play in the Premier League you have to defend but I said that I can gamble and somehow I can make a difference. My number of assists shows that, you can create chances as well.”
After retaining much of the squad inherited last summer, former Feyenoord boss Slot paid tribute to his predecessor Klopp by leading the Anfield crowd in a chant for the German manager.
