Henry Cejudo, the former UFC bantamweight champion, believes that Alex Pereira should not rush into a second fight with Magomed Ankalaev.
Pereira was defeated by Ankalaev by unanimous decision in early March, losing his light heavyweight title.
In a recent interview, Cejudo advised Pereira to take some time off and allow Ankalaev to compete against another opponent first. This would give Pereira the opportunity to analyze Ankalaev`s fighting style more thoroughly. Cejudo also expressed concern about Pereira`s training focus, suggesting that excessive travel could hinder his preparation, especially considering Pereira`s age.
