World No. 7 Casper Ruud discussed his current form. Today he faces Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals of the Rome Masters.
Ruud said, “Three weeks ago before Madrid, I would have told you I wasn`t playing the best tennis of my career yet. I would say the same thing now. Yes, Madrid was a fantastic tournament, I won, but I believe I am capable of even more.”
“Of course, it`s great that I`ve started winning on clay. After last year`s Roland Garros, I had a difficult period, not many wins. This is a very important part of the season, and I hope to have a good final few days in Rome, and then the last few weeks on clay before transitioning to grass,” Ruud noted in an interview with Tennis Channel.
