Four individuals sustained serious injuries after a vehicle collided with a gathering celebrating Paris Saint-Germain`s football victory in France.

A young woman is currently in a life-threatening condition following the incident in Grenoble, where a car reportedly travelling at high speed struck the crowd.

The car is reported to have lost control before hitting the four people, who are believed to be a family.

Footage from the aftermath shows emergency services working at the scene while onlookers gathered on pavements.

According to local reports, the driver was allegedly attempting a controlled stunt but instead lost control of the vehicle.

A spokesperson for the emergency services confirmed the driver surrendered to authorities and remains in police custody.

The spokesperson stated: “The driver jumped out of the car, and originally tried to run away, before handing himself over to police.”

The family of four was transported to the hospital, with two members reportedly in intensive care.

Even before half-time, with PSG already holding a two-goal lead, riot police were seen rushing towards groups of disruptive fans.

More chaos ensued after PSG secured their first-ever Champions League title with a dominant 5-0 victory.

Some individuals were observed throwing bottles and setting off fireworks and flares as police pushed them back.

It is understood that over 400 people have been arrested in connection with the violence.

Concerns over safety in the French capital heightened as the final approached.

PSG`s official club shop was barricaded closed for the day as part of enhanced security measures aimed at preventing potential trouble.

Footage shared by Agence de Presse showed the Ligue 1 champions` official store on the Champs-Elysees being boarded up, a measure reportedly taken due to “looting fears”.

These off-pitch disturbances occurred despite a major security operation and a heavy police presence mobilized around Paris.

Around 5,400 police officers were on duty, with traffic shut down near the football ground.

Meanwhile, in Munich, where the final was played, further clashes among fans erupted.

Dramatic footage before the match showed fights breaking out between rival supporters as they traveled to the game on public transport.

Some were even spotted throwing stones at each other at Fröttmaning station near the Allianz Arena, as reported by Bild.
