The TGL championship concluded Tuesday night with Atlanta Drive Golf Club facing off against New York Golf Club in the second match of their best-of-three series for the inaugural TGL title.
After winning the first match 6-5 on Monday, Atlanta Drive GC continued their winning streak, securing a 4-3 victory over New York in Tuesday`s match. This win completed a clean sweep, earning them the SoFi Cup.
Atlanta`s team consisted of Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Thomas, with Lucas Glover sitting out. New York`s lineup featured Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young, and Rickie Fowler, while Matt Fitzpatrick was absent.

The TGL championship drew a star-studded audience, including actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key, streamer Ninja, and former NFL quarterback Matt Ryan.
Cantlay`s Close Miss
Following a missed putt from New York`s Young, Patrick Cantlay had a chance to give Atlanta an early lead on the first hole. His 20-foot putt looked perfect but agonizingly lipped out, keeping the score tied.
Schauffele Gives New York the Lead
New York finally broke the tie in the triples portion of the match. Schauffele`s excellent first shot on Hole 7 positioned his team to take a 1-0 lead, landing the ball within 5 feet of the hole.
Young Extends New York`s Advantage
Building on their previous score, NYGC earned another point on Hole 8. Young`s approach shot was near perfect, landing only 15 inches from the cup. New York opted to use the “hammer” to double the stakes, but Atlanta declined, still granting New York a point.
New York Leads 3-0
New York further widened their lead against Atlanta in the singles portion. Schauffele defeated Thomas on Hole 10, pushing New York ahead 3-0.
Horschel Puts Atlanta Ahead on Hole 14
After gradually narrowing New York`s lead in singles play, Atlanta finally took the lead on Hole 14. Fowler`s first shot landed in the bunker, creating an opportunity for Atlanta to use the “hammer.” Horschel capitalized, sinking an approximately 18-foot putt, giving Atlanta a 4-3 lead and ultimately securing the championship on Hole 15.
