World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka shared her thoughts on recovering from the defeat by Madison Keys in the Australian Open final, where the score was 3/6, 6/2, 5/7.
“To be honest, that loss in the final was tough to process. It was a very difficult defeat. It probably took about a week just to put that final behind me.”
“I believe that after losses like these, I return even stronger. I just become incredibly motivated and highly focused on my game. Perhaps, sometimes losing matches like that is even beneficial for me, allowing me to step back slightly, gain perspective, make adjustments, release the situation, and keep moving forward,” Sabalenka was quoted by Eurosport Spain.
