World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka discussed facing opponents with greater hitting power. Speaking at a press conference after her victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid, she was asked if she had ever played against someone who hits harder than she does.

“I don`t know,” she responded with a smile. “Maybe only in practice with guys. For instance, practicing with Rublev – that was something else! After just five minutes I told him, `Okay, that`s it, I`m done`.”

Sabalenka went on to add that power isn`t the only factor for success. “You can hit hard but miss,” she noted. “Though I must admit, men`s serves are certainly stronger.”
