Interviewer: Arthur Fils, your serve had been nearly impeccable throughout the week; you hadn’t conceded a single break and it consistently helped you out of challenging situations. Today, however, its effectiveness seemed to wane. Could you explain what transpired?
Arthur Fils: It really boiled down to a slight decrease in speed, perhaps just a few kilometers per hour less, combined with a bit less accuracy in hitting my target zones. That seemingly minor difference was sufficient for my opponent to return with greater ease. My serve became somewhat more predictable, allowing him to anticipate its placement more readily.
