Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is planning a massive £8 billion investment, but it`s directed towards his NFL team, not the Gunners.

The 77-year-old has revealed plans to construct a sprawling 52-acre “village” dedicated to his Los Angeles Rams franchise.

This extensive project will feature a cutting-edge training facility and headquarters for the LA Rams, along with a new indoor entertainment arena.

Located in Woodland Hills, California, the development will also incorporate a hotel, retail spaces, a grocery store, and park areas.

Dubbed `Rams Village`, the entire undertaking is estimated to span up to a decade and reach a cost of £8 billion.

Kroenke stated, “As we begin our tenth season back in Los Angeles, we are dedicated to contributing to the evolution of this remarkable city.”

“Rams Village at Warner Center is designed to revitalize Woodland Hills, creating a dynamic community hub with public spaces, entertainment venues, retail options, and residential offerings.”

“This is an incredible opportunity to establish a vibrant destination and create the Rams` permanent home within Los Angeles. We are eager to collaborate with the City to realize this vision.”

The LA Rams` future training center will boast two regulation-size grass fields and a 150,000 square foot indoor practice field with seating for up to 2,500 spectators.

While this development promises significant benefits for the Rams, Arsenal fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the announcement.

Some supporters argue that Arsenal`s training ground, London Colney, which opened 26 years ago, is in greater need of modernization.

One fan voiced their opinion on X: “While KSE invests billions in the Rams` advanced facilities, Arsenal’s London Colney training ground—stuck in the past with its outdated infrastructure—still awaits the much-needed investment.”

Another commented, “KSE is pouring $10 billion into a state-of-the-art Rams complex, yet London Colney is left with antiquated, concrete-like pitches. What are their priorities?!”

Recent reports indicate that Arsenal is exploring options to expand the Emirates Stadium`s capacity.

Discussions are reportedly in the preliminary stages, with various possibilities under consideration.

The Gunners are also expected to be active in the summer transfer window, aiming to strengthen the squad with a striker, winger, and midfielder.

Viktor Gyokeres and Nico Williams have been mentioned as potential targets for the North London club.

Martin Zubimendi is also anticipated to be a transfer target.
