Former world No. 11 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has shared details about her present coaching team.

In a recent interview, she was asked about changes in her team composition since her successful run at the 2023 French Open, where she had a predominantly French coaching staff, followed by a period working with Italian coaches.

Pavlyuchenkova acknowledged significant changes, noting that not all coaches are available for constant travel, and some may lack the necessary expertise.

When asked to name the specialists she is currently working with, she openly shared the information. Currently, her sparring partner is Yannick Mertens from Belgium, a former Top 200 player. She is also receiving assistance from another Belgian, Jos Grevig, who previously helped Stefanos Tsitsipas improve his one-handed backhand. Grevig joined Pavlyuchenkova from Cincinnati through the US Open and also participated in the entire pre-season, but returned home after Adelaide.

Additionally, she collaborates with Fabian Donsbach from Germany. His role is primarily behind the scenes, focusing on analytics and developing her training programs. Pavlyuchenkova humorously concluded that she has ended up with a случайно (randomly – original text meaning “accidentally”) Belgian-German team, as stated in her interview with `Sport-Express`.
