American tennis star Amanda Anisimova, currently ranked world number four, has elaborated on why she feels more robust now than at any prior point in her professional career. Earlier, the athlete disclosed that she underwent a wisdom tooth extraction following her participation in the US Open.

“The last few weeks have been incredibly demanding and eventful, that`s for sure. I`ve learned a great deal about myself as a person. This is a significant step forward for me because I`ve been learning to tackle difficulties and keep pushing forward, even when it feels like all my strength is gone. I`ve realized I`m much stronger than I ever thought, and I believe this is perhaps my biggest victory. The Beijing title then became an absolutely fantastic bonus. I am incredibly happy!”

Anisimova further revealed the unexpected nature of her dental procedure during the post-tournament press conference. “Honestly, the wisdom tooth removal was quite unexpected. I was told it wouldn`t be necessary, so it came as a bit of a surprise,” she shared with a smile. “It`s good that it`s all behind me now.”
