Former world No. 2 tennis player, and two-time French Open finalist, Alex Corretja believes that the era dominated by Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal was beyond the ordinary. He drew a parallel between the time of the `Big Three` and the current situation in tennis.
“The era of absolute dominance by Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic was illogical. What happened before was extraordinary, and what is happening now is normal. There will always be players who stand out more, but being on the same level is more challenging.”
“Now there are more distractions. Previously, we only thought about the game, but today there are many more concerns that can distract you [players],” – quotes Corretja Eurosport.es.
