1976 French Open champion Adriano Panatta has spoken out regarding Jannik Sinner`s disqualification for violating anti-doping regulations.
Panatta stated, “He has absolutely nothing to do with doping. He did the right thing by admitting guilt and making a deal with WADA. Who knows where a full investigation might have led? He is a very intelligent and mature guy, a role model for all athletes. Perhaps, he is even too perfect,” as quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
