Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus amused fans with his birthday cake, which Neymar jokingly called “weird” due to its suggestive design. The two players had a funny online conversation about it.
The cake had a message in Portuguese saying: “I’m going to celebrate my birthday, yes.” It also featured two cartoon figures in a position that looked a bit rude, with one wearing an Arsenal hat.
Neymar laughed at the cake and commented, “Congratulations brother. This cake design is weird.”
Gabriel Jesus tried to downplay any rude meaning, replying to Neymar that he didn`t ask for the cake to be like that, saying, “I didn’t want a cake but the woman did it like that. I’m getting a beating hahaha!”
But Neymar continued to joke, “A punch was the last thing I thought about,” adding more laughing emojis.
Another person following Jesus also joked, “I think Jesus is taking something other than a punch!!!”
Gabriel Jesus also shared another picture celebrating his birthday with his fiancée Raiane Lima and their daughter Helena.
They announced they are expecting their second child in December.
Arsenal had earlier confirmed that Jesus would miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury he got during a match against Manchester United.
This injury is to the other knee from a previous ACL injury in 2022.
Jesus has been sharing updates on his recovery, including videos of him exercising and spending time with his daughter.
He mentioned that he had completed the first seven weeks of his recovery, working hard and improving daily.
Jesus and Raiane also revealed they are expecting a son in January.
In a birthday message to Raiane a few weeks ago, Jesus expressed his love and appreciation for her and their family.
